1 The meeting was declared open by the chairman 2 at 5.45 p.m. Details of the term’s programme 3 were worked out and dates for the various speakers
4 decided upon. There was some discussion about 5 organising a dance and it was finally decided that 6 the society hadn’t enough active members to do this. 7 Also the value to the society of such a dance 8 was dubious. However a sherry party seemed 9 a more promising idea and it was provisionally 10 decided to hold one at the end of the term. 11 Tehe meeting adjourned at 7.0pm
