1 Held in committee room ‘A’ and declared open by the 2 president, the chairman of the committee, at 5.32p.m.

3 The chairman noted that since the last 4 official committee meeting the secretary had resigned 5 and two new members had been co-opted onto the 6 committee, a publicity officer and a U.H.F Secretary, 7 to bring the number of members to six. All six members 8 were present at this meeting. 9 Finance. As the 1/2-sessional accounts were required 10 by the S.C.C on the 21st. February, the treasurer read 11 informed the committee of the society’s financial 12 position. The S.C.C grant was £13..5..0 and this was 13 supplemented by £6 from subscription fees. The 14 expenses had been £8..5..6, leaving an adequate 15 sum for the remainder of the year. The only item 16 of concern was the bill received from ‘Mooney’ 17 for the sherry consumed at the sherry party - ten 18 bottles had been ordered, eight received, and the 19 bill was for fourteen. This state of affairs 20 was described by the treasurer as ‘a balls up’. The 21 rest of the committee agreed. The matter was being 22 with pursued with S.C.C. 23 Publicity. The publicity officer thought that the 24 present advertising arrangements were not as 25 effective as they might .be. It was decided to continue
